The Cabinet Secretary for Infrastructure and Capital Investment is a cabinet post in the Scottish Government created in 2011, with responsbilities for Scottish Water, procurement, European Structural Funds, Scottish Futures Trust, transport policy and delivery, public transport, road, rail services, air and ferry services, housing, communities and regeneration. The junior Minister for Housing and Transport also reports to the Secretary.[1]
The first and current Cabinet Secretary for Infrastructure and Capital Investment is Alex Neil MSP.[2]
